Post Office

Processed with VSCO with hb2 preset

For years, I complained about my local post office. The lines! The long wait. The disorganization. But as I started putting together an ecommerce business selling my art prints, I needed mailing advice. I had no idea about package measurements or weights, labels, First Class or Priority, so I kept going in to my post office and asking questions, and the same woman was always behind the counter. Her name is Judith, and she has renewed my faith in the American mail system. Judith has happily answered all my questions. She seems amused at my bumbling along in a new business. Judith is one of many working to get our mail to us, and therein lay my misjudgement. The Post Office isn’t a cold unknowable behometh, it’s Judith, and I’m very grateful for her help.
